Individual Movements for 13 Players, 13 Rounds

Balanced Movement

This is a straightforward movement with a fixed travel pattern: bye, 2N, 3N, 3E, 1W, 2W, 1S, 1N, 2E, 1E, 3W, 3S, 2S. Each player plays with each other player once as partner, left-hand opponent, and right-hand opponent. The boards must be relayed in each round.

No-Relay Movement

This movement also has a fixed travel pattern: bye, 3S, 3E, 2E, 3N, 1W, 2S, 3W, 2N, 1S, 1N, 1E, 2W. Half the opponents' positions are not balanced. But the boards are not relayed, which saves trouble and lets you play only 13 or 26 boards instead of 39.

The board numbers shown are for 13 boards. If you play 26 boards, substitute boards 1 and 2 for 1, 3 and 4 for 2, 5 and 6 for 3, and so on.
