Did not produce much heat.
After four months the switch stopped working properly,
causing it to shut off consistently a few seconds after being turned on.

This agrees with my experience of Sunbeam products.
My wife and I owned a Sunbeam pop-up toaster that stopped
popping up after a few months, and a Sunbeam hand mixer
that broke a minor part after less than a month and stopped
working altogether after six months.
Avoid all Sunbeam products!
